I was pleased to help out with a bit of woodland management with Friends of Burdiehouse Burn Valley Park Nature Reserve.

The Friends group is made up of local volunteers who give up their spare time to make sure the woods are a pleasant place for everyone. They have recently purchased the bothy from the Council and are fund raising for its restoration!• I kick started their fundraising activities with the presentation of a cheque for £100.
