I was delighted to join the Malawi All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) in Parliament. ••

The Malawi APPG aims to promote understanding and awareness among parliamentarians, encourage positive relations between Malawi and Scotland, and provide a forum for discussion on relevant issues affecting politics, society, culture and the economy in Malawi.

Scotland’s links with Malawi date back to 1859 and the travels of Scottish explorer Dr David Livingstone. Today, more than 94,000 Scots and 198,000 Malawians are actively involved in community-led partnerships between our two nations.
