COP26 events

As part of my engagement with constituents in the run up to the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow I am holding a series of meetings with local environmental organisations. The aim is to generate a crowd sourced Edinburgh South Climate Manifesto which I hope to send to world leaders ahead of the conference.

Our first session on transport involved Capital Rail Action Group and Spokes as well as around 30 constituents to discuss some of the initiatives we would like to see in Edinburgh to improve sustainable transport. Our second meeting was on food and agriculture where we heard from fantastic local groups like Transition Edinburgh South and Bridgend Farmhouse.

My next meeting in July will be on clean energy and we will be hearing from some great local groups, including Transition Edinburgh South. Please register here.
