This month I have attended many Burns Suppers, including a great evening celebrating the centenary Burns Supper of the Poosie Nansie Burns Club at Gilmerton Miners Welfare & Social Club.
The traditional fare of haggis, neeps, tatties and steak pie was accompanied by song, poetry, reading and the famous Poosie Nansie Burns play. Brilliantly hosted and a fitting celebration for their centenary. Thanks to all involved and George Nicolson for their kind invite and good company.
