Bridgend Farmhouse is threatened by closure
Bridgend Farmhouse is a beloved community institution with something for everyone in the local area. They have a bike barn, they have built their own bothy and they also do an excellent coffee!
Nevertheless, they are facing critical funding difficulties in the coming months as the Scottish Government have cut their funding.
This follows a pattern of neglect by Culture Secretary Angus Robertson who has seen other cultural gems like the Filmhouse and Gorgie City Farm either close or be threatened with closure.
I recently visited Bridgend Farmhouse with Daniel Johnson MSP to highlight the valuable work that the staff are doing.
I have created a petition for constituents to sign below which I will send on to Angus Robertson and the rest of the Scottish Government.
