During the Covid-19 pandemic, I started a Community Hero Award to celebrate individuals and businesses who had gone above and beyond for their communities. 

It was a pleasure to give a Community Hero Award to Alan Dickson and Kenny Falconer, two leaders of the 28th Braid Scouts troop. Alan Dickson has been running the troop for fifty years and Kenny for forty- they are two public servants of the highest commitment and degree.
