I recently met with staff and young people at TEENS + in Liberton.

TEENS + is a full time, transitional education programme for young adults with additional needs. TEENS + supports students to learn the skills they require for adult life.

Each student has a bespoke, individualised schedule tailored to their own needs which allows them to progress at their own pace. The service really fills an important gap when young adults leave school and are thrust into the ‘real world’. This is such an important time for young adults with additional needs and TEENS + does really valuable work in preparing these young adults for life.
