I met with the South Edinburgh Quakers this month for a good discussion about my work in Parliament.

We focused on three main subjects for our quarterly catch up:

• Allegations of torture and rendition by UK security services
• Home Office hostile environment policies and treatment of Asylum Seekers
• Arms sales to Saudi Arabia and the war in Yemen

It is always good to meet up with the Quakers who are inspirational in their drive for peace, justice and equality.
