I was pleased to be invited to a very special event with Tap into IT alongside the Lord Provost and Lord Lieutenant of Edinburgh.  The Big Tea Party was organised to mark and celebrate their first year as a registered charity.  They provide fantastic inclusive, locally accessible service and ongoing support to enable people to tap into the benefits of the internet and technology. Our services are aimed in particular at older people and those with disabilities and health problems in Edinburgh.

In the course of this visit, stakeholders, service users, volunteers, sponsors and guests had the opportunity to view a short video highlighting the work of Tap into IT.   In an informal awards ceremony the Lord Provost handed out certificates to service users and volunteers and launched Tap into IT’s exciting new website – www/tapintoit.org.uk/
