This month Liberton Association held its AGM. The Association has been reinvigorated in recent months and 150 people were in attendance on the night to elect a new committee.

The main issue on the agenda was of course the protection of the much loved green belt land around Liberton. We know that developers will try to get the green belt re-designated during the upcoming local development plan and I was pleased to meet with the newly elected committee members to discuss how we can best protect the vital green space.
