I was delighted to join school pupils from across Edinburgh and the Lothians to demand more action is taken on climate change.

I was also very pleased to note that the Labour Party voted at conference to fully decarbonise our economy by 2030. In 2013 I brought forward a Private Members Bill to do just this and I am pleased the UK Labour Party had this in the 2015 and 2017 manifestos and now want to extend this policy.
