My office has been informed by Barratt Homes of their intention to build on Green Belt land South of Frogston Road – adjacent to the Broomhills site.

The current PAN application is very much the beginning of the process and the Council now need to respond to Barratt’s consultation plan. The usual process would be a consultation event however, COVID-19 restrictions mean that this is no longer possible. Details of the revised public event taken from the application:

“A virtual exhibition, comprising a live chat event will take place on 25 November 2020 via the above website with online material available at least 7 days in advance of the event. I be keeping residents updated when we know more. I will of course be opposing any further erosion of our precious Green Belt, particularly when we are in the process of completing a new city development plan.
