This month my office staff joined school teachers, Police officers and council officials to discuss the traffic situation around St Catherine’s PS and Gracemount PS.

For a while now the traffic during school drop-offs and pick-ups has been a real concern.

Spaces for People have proposed the following in relation to St Catherine’s:

• Removal of guardrail Gracemount Drive
• Road closed to all traffic, using barriers, maintaining access for pedestrians/cyclists along Gracemount Drive.
• Road closed to all traffic, using barriers, maintaining access for residents only/pedestrians/cyclists along Balmwell Avenue
