After initially receiving dozens of emails and phone calls from concerned constituents who had not received an appointment for their vaccine or had appointments cancelled, I am pleased to see that the vast majority of over 70s and shielding patients have now been vaccinated.  Responses from the Scottish government remain slow but we did receive confirmation that those who are housebound were taking slightly longer but this will be organised via a central community team and you should have been contacted by now.

I will continue to press the Scottish Government both for individual cases and generally to speed up the rollout. If you are in one of the groups above and have not been contacted NHS Lothian have published some information on what to do in such an instance. This information can be found here.
