As St Crispin’s school will soon move to a new building on the former site of Burdiehouse Primary School, the current site will be redeveloped.

A preliminary consultation has been carried out by Cala Homes with a formal planning application yet to be submitted to the Council.

I have spoken to many residents who are troubled by the size and scale of the proposed development. They also have legitimate access and light concerns which I have raised with CALA. Once a planning application is submitted I will be contacting residents to encourage engagement with the process. Hopefully a development which is inkeeping with the surrounding area can proceed.
