During the Covid-19 pandemic, I started a Community Hero Award to celebrate individuals and businesses who had gone above and beyond for their communities.

It was a pleasure to give a Community Hero Award to the Friends of Burdiehouse Burn Valley Park, who have done a spectacular job of clearing up the park and renovating the bothy in the park.
