This month I hosted a busy Brexit public meeting in the Eric Liddell Centre.

I was joined by Daniel Johnson MSP and Dr Tobias Locke from Edinburgh University to discuss the many implications of the Brexit vote including: rights of EU citizens, single market access and the various constitutional implications. We also discussed the repatriation of EU powers to devolved administrations and the process after Article 50 is triggered.

Although optimism was in short supply, •the meeting was a big success. I will be holding more of these events as we move through the process of leaving the EU since we could have had three times the number of attendees.
