My colleague Martin Whitfield and I have written to the Home Secretary, Sajid Javid regarding the impact a no deal Brexit could have on the Scottish Universities sector.

In the event of a no deal Brexit visas issued to EEA students will last only 36 months despite the fact the conventional degree at a Scottish university lasts 48 months. This could have a serious impact on the ability of Scottish universities to compete with universities across the UK.
