It is now confirmed: there will be European Parliament elections on 23rd May!

I have been working with Labour MEP and People’s Vote supporter David Martin locally on registering people to vote. It is so important that as many people as possible register to vote. 96% of over 65s are registered to vote whilst only 60% of young people (18-34) are registered.

These will be the most important European elections ever and a huge chance to tell the Government that we want a People’s Vote on whatever Brexit deal is agreed.

From now until polling day I will be out and about in Edinburgh South: knocking doors delivering leaflets and running street stalls.
