Ian Murray MP Working Hard for Edinburgh South

The winning design, by Camille Dykstra from James Gillespie’s Primary School
•
Last Saturday was the prize giving event of my annual Christmas card competition. It was a fantastic year -; we had over 2000 entrants from 14 Primary Schools across Edinburgh South with the standard higher than ever.
It was great to have help choosing the winner from Forth Radio presenter and star of Aladdin, Grant Stott.

My huge thanks and appreciation go out to all of the teachers, parents and children, without whom this competition could not happen.
•
A special mention should also be made for Sainsbury’s Cameron Toll, whose generous sponsorship has ensured that every child who entered will receive a prize. And, of course, to Grant Stott for having the unenviable task of choosing the winner.
