I was humbled to attend a service commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Clydebank Blitz.

While commonly known as the Clydebank Blitz these events covered a broad swath of Scotland, including Glasgow, Greenock, Paisley, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Shetland; having a direct impact on the cultural, social and economic life of the communities as well as being the largest loss of civilian life in Scottish modern history.

It was a real privilege to attend this moving•service.
