The Edinburgh Evening News have revealed that 6000 extra homes are to be pushed through the planning process in south-east Edinburgh. I have long argued that the LDP needs to be implemented as soon as possible as residents are completely locked out of the current process because Scottish Government Ministers are forcing through applications on appeal.
