I was delighted to join members for the annual Falcon Bowling and Tennis club open day.

Falcon Bowling and Tennis Club was formed in 2005 when the Council no longer felt they could maintain the club. Local members joined together to save the courts and the bowling greens in Morningside. Since then substantial investment has been made and the tennis courts are looking fantastic.•

Falcon Club offers something for everyone and the open day is a great way to attract new members.

I had a go at bowling. Rather fun and managed a respectable draw with my bowling coach for the day, Miles Weaver.
