I was delighted to join my Scottish Labour colleague Neil Bibby MSP in his campaign to Save Paisley Post Office.

Neil has lodged a formal consultation response detailing his objections -; including concerns about accessibility for older and disabled people. He has also tabled a motion in the Scottish Parliament calling on Post Office Ltd to consider alternatives to the proposal.

I was happy to join him to meet with campaigners and show my support for the campaign to save the popular Post Office in the Piazza. We are well used to Post Office campaigns here so I was happy to share our experiences.• With the Post Office continually changing it mustn’t lose sight of the local communities that they represent.
