I was honoured to give the vote of thanks for Eleanor Updale’s wonderful interview with esteemed author, Ian Rankin. The discussion was wide ranging but centred on Ian Rankin’s wonderful novels on Edinburgh South constituent, John Rebus.

£6,000 was raised for the fantastic charity, Christian Aid , to help combat HIV, malaria and other poverty related diseases around the world.

It was a great evening. Thanks to Fairmilehead Parish Church, Eleanor Updale, Ian Rankin and, of course, all those who attended and gave so generously.
