The flood prevention works on Moredunvale Road have been ongoing for well over a year and residents are rightly concerned that there appears to be no end in sight. •More delays have also been announced.•

During my campaign for re-election I started a petition which called upon NHS Lothian, the Council and the contractors to come together and provide transport for people with mobility issues who cannot access a bus service.

Since being re-elected I have written again to NHS Lothian on the subject and am in the process of setting up a meeting where I will stress the importance of finishing these works on time and providing some residents with alternative travel options.

I will be keeping all residents in the Craigour area informed as things progress.
