I was delighted to meet with a delegation of politicians from Kyrgyzstan who were in the UK as part of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.

During the visit the delegation of deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh were familiarised with UK parliamentary system and the activities of the parliamentary committees, their structure and supervisory functions.

I hosted the deputies in my constituency office to discuss the job we do in supporting constituents with a variety of issues.•
