I joined tens of thousands in London this July to celebrate the centenary of our Royal Air Force, which formed in 1918.

It was a great event and it was really good to see so many service personnel, with their friends and families enjoying the day. Our service personnel deserve our eternal thanks for their sacrifices, past and present.

Here in Edinburgh South fantastic charities like Erskine are doing great work caring for veterans in the community.  It is vital that we recognise the enormous sacrifice our service personal make and that we care for them properly.
