The Government want workplace accident and disease claims for up to £2,000 to be heard in the Small Claims Court, where you cannot reclaim your legal fees from your employer. This proposed increase in the small claims limit for personal injury claims will have a major impact on victims of workplace accidents and in practise will make it harder for workers to access justice and receive proper legal support.
