Ian taking questions from George Watsons
Ian taking questions from George Watsons' pupils

George Watsons College send a number of students to London every year to see Parliament.  This year I spoke with three lots of 60 students after their parliamentary tours.  The questions they posed ranged from what it was like to be an MP and how do you become an MP, to the challenges of the job and international affairs.  They were really engaging sessions.

If there are any other local schools that would like to explore visiting parliament, please get in touch. The parliamentary education service has a plethora of learning tools and resources to help with trips.
