I joined local group Transition Edinburgh South for this year’s Green Heart Hero Awards Ceremony.  Local resident, Pat Abel, was in attendance at the awards.

The Climate Coalition is a group of over 130 organisations working to highlight the concern that the UK public has about the people, places and lives we love that could be lost to climate change. The Green Heart Hero Awards are part of the annual Show The Love campaign, which aims to provide businesses, individuals, faith groups, Women’s Institute groups, young people and many more the opportunity to recognise the things close to their hearts that they want to protect from climate change.

Transition Edinburgh South does fantastic work in the community to promote greener, healthier living through projects like Gracemount Walled Garden. Well done on the nomination!
